Installing BackTrack Step guide

This method is the simplest method available to install backtrack in your PC.

Steps

1. Boot backtrack in your machine.
2. once it is booted type STARTX this will take you to the KDE graphic interface mode.
3. Then you will see install icon open that o run command "ubiquity" in console.
4. Then select your location and click forward.
5. Then it will ask you to partition your Harddisk.
6. Create enough partition AND accept the installation summary and click install
7. Then wait for the installation to complete then restart.
8. You should be allowed to boot in BackTrack or in windows

Login Detail BackTrack:

Default username: Root
Default Password : Toor

To fix framebuffer splash type fix-splash or fix-splash800? if you wish a 800*600 framebuffer)
REBOOT.
